1oz fine silver coin Australian Kookaburra 2012. Australia’s legendary bird, the Kookaburra, is depicted in profile on this 999 fine silver bullion 1oz coin.
The reverse of this coin features a kookaburra facing to the side, balanced on a tree branch. In an arch along the top are the sords ‘AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA’. Along the bottom are shown the year, silver purity and weight of this coin.
The obverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II along with the coin denomination of one Australian Dollar.
The Kookaburra coin series began in 1990 and is now the longest running bullion program by the Perth Mint, with a new design every year.
