This striking silver coin is the 3rd coin in a set of 12 and depicts the Year of the Tiger. The tiger is the third of the twelve animals of the ancient Chinese lunar calendar.
The reverse portrays a finely detailed stylised representation of a Tiger and cub strolling among bamboo. The coin also depicts the Chinese symbol for “Tiger” at the top, the minting date 2022 and the Perth Mint mark “P”.
The obverse portrays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by artist Jody Clark, as well as the monetary denomination of 8 Australian dollars, the weight and fineness.
