Coin reverse is the classic US herald design of the Eagle and Shield, designed by John Mercanti. The eagle sits below 13 small stars, representing the original 13 American colonies. Inscribed with traditional Latin ‘E Pluribus Unum’ which means ‘Out of Many, One’
