The 1.25oz Canadian Bison silver coin 2015 is the first 1.25oz fine silver coin ever produced.

The reverse features a Canadian wild buffalo in a full run across the prairies against a backdrop of rolling hills. This side also features the coin’s purity .9999 is stamped on the prairies,, as well as the artists initials and the words “FINE SILVER” and “ARGENT PUR”.

The obverse of this coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II set against a background of fine radial lines. The Queen’s title is inscribed above her head and the denominational value of $8, eight dollars, is set below.
